1 1/2 cups of chestnut flour
2 cups (0.5 kg) of crystallized fruits, chopped
1 3/4 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
2/3 cup of butter or margarine
3/4 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup of mashed banana
1 1/2 cups of chestnut flour
2 cups (0.5 kg) of crystallized fruits, chopped
1 3/4 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
2/3 cup of butter or margarine
3/4 cup of sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup of mashed banana
Pecan the chestnut flour not too finely
Mix with the crystallized fruits
Set aside
Sift the wheat flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt
Beat the butter or margarine with sugar until well combined
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition
Alternate adding the wheat flour mixture with mashed banana and beat at low speed or with a wooden spoon
Pour over the nut and fruit mixture and mix well
Place in a 23.5 cm diameter, well-greased cake pan
Bake on the lowest rack of the oven (150°C) for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
Let it rest for 15 minutes in the pan
Invert onto a wire rack to cool completely
Serve as is or dust with confectioner's sugar
