Beat the butter or margarine with the egg yolks and large eggs
Add the remaining ingredients, including the whipped egg whites
Bake in a greased and floured cake pan
RECHEIO: Beat 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 4 tablespoons orange juice, 1 cup milk, 1 tablespoon orange extract, and 1/2 teaspoon salt
Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened and boiling
Remove from heat, add 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, and beat until smooth
Glaze: 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup orange juice
Heat the glaze over low heat until fervering
Remove from heat, add 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter, and stir until combined
Cool completely before serving.
