3/4 cup of butter or margarine
2 cups of all-purpose flour, sifted
2/3 cup of whole wheat pastry flour
1 tablespoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
3 eggs
2/3 cup of honey
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of semisweet chocolate chips, chopped
Filling and topping:
1 cup of honey
2 egg whites beaten to stiff peaks
1/2 cup of butter

1/2 cup of butter
Place the butter or margarine in a bowl
Sift together the flour, whole wheat pastry flour, baking soda, and cinnamon, then add to the butter
Add 2 of the eggs and honey, and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes
Beat in the remaining egg and milk, and continue beating for another 2 minutes
Pour into two greased and floured pans (25 cm diameter each)
Sprinkle chocolate over the batter
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) preheated to 25-30 minutes
Remove from pans and let cool
Filling: warm the honey until it reaches the desired consistency
Add the egg whites slowly, beating constantly, then let cool
Add the butter gradually, beating well, and divide into 16 portions.
