A Recipe
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of butter
3 cups of all-purpose flour
4 whole eggs
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 cup of milk
For the glaze
6 packets of vegetable shortening
9 packets of Confectioner's Sugar (500g each)
To decorate
One box of pistachios (found easily at Kopenhagen stores)
1 packet of square-shaped cookies
2 boxes of chocolate sticks
2 packets of pretzel rods
2 packets of M&M's
300g of candy (available at Kopenhagen stores)
1 bag of Confetti candies
drops of green and brown
1 red round ball
chocolate chips and marzipan
shredded coconut in a packet
food coloring, green and blue
1 packet of unscented gelatin
1 torrone (for the bridge over the river)

Beat the butter with sugar
Add eggs one at a time and continue beating until a creamy white mixture forms
Alternate adding flour sifted with baking powder and milk
Place in a greased, floured, and powdered pan
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 minutes or until, inserting a toothpick, it comes out clean
For the glaze, beat vegetable shortening until smooth
Add sifted confectioner's sugar and beat until firm and easy to prepare
