Guitar Cake

Assemble the two cakes and place them on a table side by side, joining them at their narrowest sides

Cut out the guitar shape (see mold on the next page)

Prepare the glaze: beat egg whites until stiff and add confectioner's sugar, beating until stiff peaks form

Reserve the remaining glaze

Cover the entire guitar shape with the reserved glaze

Place brown sugar in a clean and dry plastic bag

Add a small amount of special food coloring to the brown sugar and mix well

Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the guitar shape using a sifter

With the remaining glaze, create white decorations and add some silver-colored sprinkles on top

Use a thin ribbon or twine to create the strings and tie with a wooden peg

If desired, cover any empty space on the table with glaze and use dark brown-glue to create musical notes.
