1st stage
7 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2nd stage
6 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 2 large eggs
3/4 cup candied fruit, 3/4 cup raisins

2 tablespoons granulated sugar, 2 large eggs

Combine all ingredients from the first stage to form a cream. Reserve

Beat the butter and sugar from the second stage

Add the eggs and the mixture from the first stage and beat until smooth
Add the fruit and mix slowly
Pour into a greased and floured mold

Let it rest for 5 minutes
Bake in a medium oven at golden brown and slightly loose around the edges.
