Preheat the oven to medium (170°C) and grease a 30 cm cake pan with butter
Mash the ripe bananas and eggs until smooth and creamy
Add the softened butter, vanilla extract, and mix well
Combine the whole wheat flours, baking soda, and cinnamon; mix into the wet ingredients
Reserve for later use
Sift the flour mixture with baking soda and cinnamon; add to the previous mixture
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
Serve warm.
