1 3/4 cups of wheat flour
2 1/2 teaspoons of active dry yeast
1 cup of granulated sugar
1/3 cup of unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup and 2 tablespoons of whole milk
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to moderate temperature (170°F)
Dust two 20cm round molds or one with a hole in the middle with wheat flour
Sift the wheat flour with yeast and reserve
Beat the butter and sugar together for 4 minutes
Alternate adding yeast, flour, and milk, beating continuously
Add the vanilla extract and beat for another minute
Place the batter into prepared molds and bake for about 30 minutes, or until the cake is loose from the sides
Let it cool for 10 minutes before unmolding.
