4 large eggs
2 tablespoons grated orange zest
1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons chocolate in Pieces
2 tablespoons rum

Beat the butter or margarine, gradually adding the sugar, eggs, and orange zest, beating well
Mix the baking powder with the flour and add alternately with the milk, stirring well
Divide the dough in half
Remove some spoonfuls from one of the halves
Place the remaining half into a 9x5-inch loaf pan, lifting the dough on the sides
Add the chocolate in Pieces and rum to the other half
Place this mixture over the dough in the loaf pan
Finally, cover with the removed spoonfuls
Bake at moderate heat (350°F) for about 65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
