Bring a large pot of water to a boil
Add 1 tablespoon of salt and the pasta
Cook for 10 minutes or until al dente.,

In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream with all the ingredients except the red pepper flakes

Drain the pasta, reserving 2 cups of the cooking water
Add that water to the bowl with the sauce, mix well, and then pour it into the pot used for cooking the pasta
