Mix all the ingredients together
Place on a smooth surface and make an indentation in the center
Dissolve one beef tablet (or 2 tablespoons of yeast) in 1 cup of warm water
Pour the dissolved yeast over the flour, alternating with 1 tablespoon of melted butter
Mix delicately with a fork until everything is well combined
Knead with your hands to obtain a smooth dough that doesn't stick to your fingers
Let it rest for 30 minutes
While this is resting, prepare the filling: mix well 500 grams of ground beef with 1 teaspoon of oil, 1 large onion finely chopped, 1/3 cup of nuts or pine kernels, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon without seeds, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of parsley chopped, salt and black pepper to taste
Separate the dough into portions and open it in your palm to form circles of 8-10 cm diameter
Place the dough circles in a greased baking dish
Distribute 1 tablespoon of filling over each pie
Bake in a preheated oven at moderate temperature (180°C) for 15-20 minutes or until the pies are lightly golden on the edges
This recipe yields approximately 20 pies.
