10 hot dogs (400 g)
5 hard-boiled eggs, cooled and peeled
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese (90 g)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 cup toasted and chopped almonds (75 g)
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard
12 mini hot dog buns cut in half

Chop the hot dogs with the eggs
Combine the grated cheese, chopped onion, toasted almonds, mayonnaise, and mustard
Mix well
Remove a portion of the top crust from each bun, leaving a 1 cm rim
Fill with the sausage mixture
Close with the remaining half of the bun
Wrap the sandwiches in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet
Bake in a slow oven (150°C) for 20 minutes
Serve hot and enjoy, yielding 12 sandwiches.
