Cut the crust off the bread slices
Place cheese slices on 4 bread slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Cover with the remaining bread slices
Mix the eggs with milk
Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture
In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons (of soup) butter
Fry the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides
If necessary, add more butter
Serve hot.
