Prepare the coffee using 2 1/2 teaspoons of coffee for every cup of water
Keep the coffee warm while mixing in a saucepan the spices and citrus peels, the sugar, the brandy, and the Cointreau
Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then ignite the mixture
Stir with a wooden spoon until the sugar is dissolved, as the mixture burns
Add the strong coffee gradually and continue stirring until the flame goes out
Serve hot
