Remove the white pith from the lime and cut it into fine slices

In a low bowl, place the lime zest and sugar
Muddle with a muddler or the back of a spoon

Add the Cachaça and stir it well into the lime and sugar mixture
Serve chilled, garnished with a lime wheel if desired.
