In a saucepan, combine the Karo, sugar, and water, and let it simmer at low heat without stirring until it reaches a syrupy consistency
(To test if it's ready, lift some of the mixture between your thumb and index finger; if it forms a thin string that breaks easily, it's done.)
Remove from heat, add the peppermint extract slowly while stirring constantly
Await for it to cool down
Serve the syrup chilled with whipped cream, chocolate, or another flavor of your choice
