1/2 pound of peeled and cleaned shrimp

4 slices of bread without crusts

salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven
Cook the shrimp in 1/2 cup of water for 5 minutes
Drain and reserve the broth
Beat the butter or margarine with the mustard powder and spread it on the bread slices
Cut into small squares
Layer the squares, cheese, and shrimp in a refrigerated baking dish greased with butter
Mix the milk, eggs, and reserved broth to taste
Season to taste and pour into the prepared baking dish
Bake in a water bath until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean
Take about 1 hour or slightly longer
Serve immediately
