8 slices of breakfast bread (2.5 cups, cut into small squares)
250g grated melted cheese (2 cups)
2 cups cooked and cleaned shrimp
1 small can of sliced mushrooms
3 eggs
salt and pepper to taste

Spread a thin layer of butter over the bread and cut it into small squares
Place half of the bread in an ungreased 9x13 inch baking dish
Cover with shrimp and mushrooms
Top with remaining bread and cheese
Beat eggs with salt, pepper, and milk, then pour into the prepared baking dish
Bake at moderate heat for 45-50 minutes, or until firm
Serve in 5-6 portions.
