1/2 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon of whiskey, rum, or lime juice
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
wrap dough:
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
1 pinch of salt
1 tablespoon of melted butter
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup of beer
1 large egg white
vegetable oil for frying
1/2 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

Add the whiskey and Worcestershire sauce to the shrimp and let it marinate for 15 minutes
Mix together the flour and salt in a bowl
Add the butter and egg, mixing until just combined
Gradually add the beer, stirring only until the mixture is smooth
Let the dough rest for 1 hour in a protected place
Add the beaten egg white
Dip some shrimp into the dough at once and fry in hot vegetable oil until golden brown
Drain on paper towels
Serve with seasoned mayonnaise and capers
