1/2 pound grated cheddar cheese or plate

1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion and a few drops of pepper sauce

Set aside 1 cup of grated cheese
Mix the rest with the sardines, yogurt, paprika, onion, and pepper sauce
Spread a little of the mixture on each slice of bread
Dust with the reserved cheese and paprika
Bake in a hot oven (400°F) until the cheese melts, about 3 minutes
These can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
