In a medium-sized pressure cooker, place the beef and season with salt and garlic
Fry the onions and oil at high heat until well browned (about 20 minutes)
Add the tomato and water and cover the cooker
When it starts to clear, reduce the heat and cook for about 45 minutes
Unplug and leave the pressure cooker undisturbed until all the pressure is released
Check if the meat is tender by poking with a fork
If not, return the cooker to the heat without covering and cook for a few more minutes. Reserve
In a medium-sized skillet, melt butter in oil at high heat
Reduce the heat to medium and brown small batches of banana each time (about 4 minutes)
Let it drain on paper towels
Add calabrian pepper to the meat in the pressure cooker, mix well, and add banana
Bring to a simmer for about 1 minute
Transfer the meat to a platter and cut into slices
Distribute the sauce with bananas around the meat and serve warm
