1 lb of lizard cut into thick slices

8-10 tomato halves, diced
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup salted almonds, shelled

Mix the flour with salt and pepper to taste
Coat the lizard slices in this mixture
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high
Cook the lizard slices on both sides until browned
Remove the lizard from the skillet and set aside
Add the onion and cook until softened, without browning
Return the lizard to the skillet
Add the tomatoes and beef broth
Cover and simmer for 15 minutes
Add the almonds and simmer for another 15 minutes, or until the lizard is tender
Serve with rice
