1 kg of well-cooked cassava

1 medium onion cut into strips
1 tablespoon of chili flakes
2 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro

Mash the cassava in a vegetable press while still hot
In a pot, combine the cassava, margarine, milk, grated cheese, salt, black pepper, thyme, and bring to low heat
Mix well until a homogeneous puree forms. Reserve
Reheat the dried beef, let it cool slightly, then shred it
In a pot, heat the olive oil, sauté the onion with the beef for 5 minutes
Add chili flakes
Using two tablespoons, shape into long, thin patties with the cassava puree
In a baking dish, place the beef and alongside the patties
Sprinkle cilantro and serve.
