Unroll the dough and cut it into 4-centimeter strips
Place a strip over another, brushing with melted butter between them
Cut into 4cm x 4cm squares and arrange in the muffin tin liners
Preheat the oven to medium temperature and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden brown
Wash the figs and cut them into thin strips
Cut the cheese into small triangles
Place a piece of cheese and a fig inside each pastry case
