3 lbs of small white and red onions, peeled
2 tablespoons of honey
1/3 cup of butter
2/3 cup of Port wine
1/2 cup of raisins

Quickly boil the onions in boiling water for 3 minutes
Drain
In a pan, combine the onions with the honey and butter
Bring to a simmer and cook until the onions darken
Stir occasionally, making circular motions with the pan
Add the Port wine and cook at low heat, with the pan covered, for 25 minutes
Add the raisins and cook for another 15 minutes, until the onions are tender
Dish out into 15 portions.
