1 recipe for almond paste (see mushroom recipe)
For the whipped cream
1 1/4 cup of confectioner's sugar
1/8 teaspoon of cream of tartar
1 egg white
red or green ribbon
colorful marshmallows
green food coloring
Prepare the almond paste according to the mushroom recipe instructions
Divide the paste into two parts and roll out to a thickness of 4-5 mm on a surface dusted with confectioner's sugar
Cut out 12 circles of 5.5 cm in diameter and place them in a baking dish lined with parchment paper
Use the remaining paste to make 24 rings of the same size as the circles
Place a ring over a circle (which will serve as the base for the treat), using a little egg white to secure it
Then, add another circle on top to give height to the treat
Repeat this process, obtaining 12 treats in total
Let them dry completely overnight
Make the whipped cream by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and beating with an electric mixer until smooth and thick
Reserve 1/4 cup of the whipped cream and seal it tightly
Cover all sides of the treats and let them dry completely for 4-5 hours
Wrap a ribbon around the base of each treat, securing it with a small dot of glue
Mix the remaining whipped cream with green food coloring until you reach the desired shade
Place two opposite leaves on top of each treat, and add a red marshmallow in the center of each pair
Fill the cavity with colorful marshmallows and hang them on a tree branch
