3/4 cup of grated sweet potato

Wring out the pickled cabbage, squeeze it well and reserve
Place butter or margarine in a saucepan and bring to heat, until melted and hot
Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes
Add the pickled cabbage, water, sweet potato, salt to taste, and caraway seed
Stir well and cook with lid on for 20 minutes
Serve in 6-8 portions.
