Arrange the figs in a decorative pattern at the bottom and sides of a 29 cm oval baking dish
Process or blend together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, Porto wine, and salt until smooth
Pour the mixture carefully over the figs
Top with butter pieces and dust with all-purpose flour
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown and set
Let it rest for 8 hours before serving
