Butter with Honey: Mix the ingredients and bring to a simmer to melt the butter

Burnt Sugar: Place the sugar in a pan
Heat it over high heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, scraping the bottom of the pan
When it starts to caramelize, reduce the heat and continue stirring until it becomes transparent and golden
Then, add the water once
It will thicken
Continue stirring over low heat until it thickens again
Do not overcook, as this topping thickens after removing from heat
Yield: 3/4 cup.
