200g of Chantilly Cream
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
6 tablespoons of chopped nuts
season to taste

Cook the sliced pears in a mixture of water and sugar for 15 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced slightly
Remove the pears from the liquid and let them cool
Reduce the liquid further to create a light syrup
Arrange the pears on a serving dish, spooning the syrup over them
Top with Chantilly cream and chopped nuts
Serve chilled
NOTES: This recipe can be made with other fruits as well.
