Two soup spoons of fat
One medium onion, finely chopped
1 kg of pork loin cut into cubes
Half teaspoon of salt
One-quarter teaspoon of pepper
Two soup spoons of paprika
1 1/2 to 2 cups of hot water
Three cups of sauerkraut (canned or fresh)
One medium cup of sour cream
Two soup spoons of fat
One medium onion, finely chopped

1 1/2 to 2 cups of hot water
Three cups of sauerkraut (canned or fresh)
One medium cup of sour cream
Heat the fat in a pot
Sauté the onion until it's translucent
Add the pork loin and cook everything together for about 10 minutes
Add salt, pepper, and paprika
Stir well
Add enough hot water to barely cover the meat
Drain the sauerkraut
Arrange it on top of the meat and cover the pot
Let it simmer slowly for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the meat is tender
Add the sour cream and stir well to combine
Let it come to a gentle boil (but don't let it boil) and cook slowly for a few more minutes
Serve 4 to 6 people.
