In a refrigerator, combine the onion and butter

Microwave on high for 3 minutes

Add the flour and mix well
Return to the oven at high heat for 1 minute, stirring halfway through

Add the corn kernels and heavy cream
Microwave on high for an additional 5 minutes or until slightly thickened
