To decorate, 1 cup of whipped cream and 1 1/2 tablespoons of Karo
30g of semi-sweet chocolate

Soak the gelatin in cold water
In a saucepan, combine hot water and chocolate
Melt the chocolate over low heat
Remove from heat
Add the softened gelatin and stir until dissolved
Beat the egg yolks until thickened
Gradually add 1/2 cup of sugar, beating well
Add vanilla extract
Slowly add the chocolate mixture, beating well
Refrigerate until slightly set
Beat the egg whites until stiff
Gradually add 3/4 cup of sugar, beating well
Add to the chocolate mixture, beating well
Place in a serving dish and refrigerate until firm
Then, decorate with whipped cream and chocolate sauce made by mixing Karo and chocolate, then heating over low heat
Use to create decorative designs on top of whipped cream
Serve 8 portions.
