1 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of ground cardamom
1 cup of sugar

Mix the sugar with 1/2 cup of water
Bring to a boil and cook until thickened
Beat the eggs well until frothy
Add the warm syrup slowly, still beating
Beat until cool
Mix in the cardamom and refrigerate
Serve over fruit
