1 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 cup of sugar

Combine sugar with 1/2 cup of water
Bring to a boil and cook until thickened
Beat the eggs until frothy
Gradually add the warm syrup, still beating
Beat until cooled
Mix in the cardamom and refrigerate
Serve over fruit pedastals at serving time
Serves 15.
