In a saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, cornstarch, sugar, and salt
Mix well and then gradually add the mixture of milk and eggs, heavy cream, and finally the butter, stirring constantly

Cook for an additional three minutes without stopping to stir

Refrigerate for at least three hours
