1 cup mayonnaise
1 hard-boiled egg, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
1 clove garlic, mashed with 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons finely chopped green scallions, including the green part
1 tablespoon curry powder (in powdered form)
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Cooked shrimp (lobster or prawn)
1 cup mayonnaise

In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped egg, and grated ginger
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well
If desired, puree the mixture in a blender
Place the dip on a plate, surrounded by cooked shrimp
Serve 6 to 8 portions.
