Cut the pumpkin into squares and remove the seeds
Wash
Cook in a covered pan (do not add water, as the natural moisture from the pumpkin is sufficient)
Once the pumpkin is cooked, mash it
Place the mashed pumpkin in a pan, add the ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg

The pumpkin should transform into a shiny paste
