Cut a 2 cm thick slice from the top (the handle) of each cashew and discard it
Use a skewer to pierce the cashews and squeeze them over a bowl
Reserve the pulp and cashews in separate containers
In a non-stick pan over high heat, make a thin sauce with sugar, cashew pulp, and lime slices, stirring occasionally
Add the fruits and cook over high heat, uncovered, for 1 hour and 30 minutes
Add water and let it simmer for another 20 minutes
Once cooled, place the sweet treat in a serving dish
Serve at room temperature or chilled.
