In a large saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves
When boiling, add the milk and coconut milk, and upon reaching a boil again (with bubbles forming around the pan), add the eggs, cornstarch, and lime juice, without stirring
Lower the heat and, as the eggs cook, stir gently at intervals
Increase the heat and let it simmer until there is little remaining liquid
Serve chilled, dusting with cinnamon.
