Wash the tamarinds, place them in a bowl and cover them with water, leaving to soak for 2 hours
Pass small batches of the soaked tamarind through a sieve
Squeeze well to obtain as much pulp as possible
For each cup of pulp obtained, calculate 1 cup of sugar
