    To make it this simple, just buy a cooked ham without bone, around 5 kilograms. Cut it into slices of about 1/2 centimeter. Tie it with twine to keep the ham from losing its shape. Place it in a baking dish and bake in a moderate oven for 2 hours. While that's cooking, prepare this topping: 1 cup of black grape jelly, 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice mixed in a small saucepan. Heat it until it's smooth and even. When the ham is done, spread some of this topping over it and bake for another 30 minutes. Brush the ham frequently with the remaining topping. Now, place the ham on a platter, cut the twine, and garnish with nuts and marzipan candies. Give it a final touch by coloring the plate with parsley. And now, invite your friends: your delicious Christmas ham is ready!
