4 to 5 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil
600g of beef cut into strips 1/2 cm by 5 cm long
salt and black pepper to taste
2 onions, peeled and chopped
250g of beans, cut into pieces
500g of tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup of beef broth
1 1/2 tablespoons of oregano
4 to 5 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil

Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil in a large skillet, then add the beef and cook on all sides until browned
Season with salt and black pepper to taste
Set aside
Reduce heat and sauté the onions in the remaining oil, stirring occasionally until they are translucent
Increase heat and add all the ingredients to the skillet, stirring well and bringing to a simmer
Cover and reduce heat, letting the beans cook until tender, adding more hot water as needed
Serve 4 portions.
