1 kg of flank steak or pork loin
150 g of smoked bacon diced
3 large onions, sliced into rings
2 tablespoons of uncooked rice
1/2 liter of beef broth
1 kg of red bell peppers, peeled and cut into strips (8 units)
500 g of tomatoes cut into 4 pieces
1/2 tablespoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
1 tablespoon of hot paprika
Salt to taste

Clean the steak and cut it into 2 cm cubes
Fry the bacon in a large skillet until all the fat is melted
Add the steak and braise for 15 minutes
Add the onions and let them cook for 5 minutes
Add the rice and beef broth, then cover the skillet and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes
If necessary, add a little water
Add the bell peppers and tomatoes, then sprinkle with paprika, re-cover, and simmer for another 25 minutes until the meat is tender and the sauce is thickened
Season with salt, sweet paprika, and hot paprika
Mix well and serve hot

Note: You can substitute flank steak with pork loin or beef muscle
If you choose this option, braise the steak for an additional 10 minutes before simmering it in beef broth or water for 1 hour before adding the onions.
