400g of green beans
6 slices of bacon cut into 2cm pieces
1 small green onion, chopped (with the green part only)
1 tomato, seeded and diced

Place 1 liter of water in a pot with salt
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat
Add the green beans without stems or tips
Simmer for 1 minute
Drain in a colander and rinse under cold running water
In a frying pan, fry the 2cm bacon pieces until crispy
Remove the bacon with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels
Remove half of the grease from the frying pan
In the remaining grease, sauté the green onion and tomato for 2 minutes
Add the green beans and cook for another 2 minutes
Season to taste with salt and black pepper
Serve with soy sauce separately.
