Cook the fettuccine as you would normally
Drain and place in a refractory dish greased
Fry the onion and garlic in oil until soft but not golden brown
Add the tomatoes, salt, and pepper
Bring to a boil and add the chicken breast
Pour over the fettuccine
Mix with a fork
Sprinkle shredded cheese
Bake at moderate heat until the cheese is melted and the dish is hot, 6-8 servings.
