1 kg of beef (filet-mignon)

2 chopped onions

1/2 cup of sour cream

Cut the beef into small pieces
Mix the flour and seasonings with the beef, mixing well
Melt the butter or margarine in a pan and brown the beef
Sauté the onion and drained mushrooms in additional butter
Combine in a blender the liquid from the mushroom can, the onion, half of the mushrooms, beef broth, and sour cream
Blend for 10 seconds or until smooth
Pour over the beef and add the reserved mushrooms
Cook uncovered over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally
Serve with rice or macaroni
