1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
salt to taste

Crack open the eggs, cut them in half and remove the yolks
Grate the yolks and reserve the egg whites
Heat the manioc flour in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it lightly browns
Mix in the melted butter or margarine and manioc flour, stirring until the butter is absorbed
Add chopped yolks and salt to taste
Serve
Garnish with cooked egg whites, placing an olive in each half
Serve this farofa with roasted meat or chicken
