Season the fadinho with salt, black pepper, paprika, and set aside; Fry the onion in olive oil and butter or margarine for 5 minutes
Add the fadinho and fry while stirring constantly
Dust with all-purpose flour, mix well, and fry for an additional 5 minutes
Serve immediately
Serves 4
Variations:
With cream of milk:
If desired, add 1 cup of cream of milk and stir well
Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, heat well, and serve
Pâté:
To make a pâté, prepare the fried fadinho and blend in a blender with 1/2 cup of butter or margarine and 2 tablespoons of cognac
Blend well, place in a bowl, and refrigerate
Serve with crackers or bread slices.
