Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until they form a light and clear cream
Add the dissolved cornstarch to a small amount of cold milk
Heat the remaining milk and mix it with the dissolved cornstarch
Cook over low heat, stirring until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency
Do not let it boil
Remove from heat and add the liqueur, stir well and let cool
Arrange the figs on a plate
Serve with cream on the side
